Sean Monahan - perhaps, but not for a 2nd rounder. I don't think MTL would have any interest.

The Duke - no interest. The Duke's numbers are on the decline over the last two season's. I get the motivation to launch Barclay and his contract, I do! For the record, his contract makes him difficult to move.
Barclay is still solid at the dot and has the most flexibility as to where he plays in the lineup. I have no alternative at this time, but in my view the Duke is a no.

Noah Hannifan - The Rangers don't need D-men. Chytil will be the one who will be offered by the Rangers. He is not a center and can't win faceoffs. He is a 3rd line C on the Rangers, and an expensive one. His concussion issues make him expendable as well.

If I were the Drury, I would package Chytil and Kakko (diito re: durability) with appropriate sweeteners as necessary in exchange for a strong RW. It's my next project to identify who the RW might be.

Quote whatever you want, but the price market is sky-high for the top centers of TDL market. From what I've read this is a basic offer but I'm asking higher value because I know it's going to be a biding war.

I’m not sure about Monahan. All I hear is he’s a PP specialist and he can’t be on our PP. We need more grit in the addition imo. Ie- Jenner/Laughton

Novak is actually the guy to get imo, 800k easy peasy pick up

Monahan has more 5v5 pts than pp pts but if Chytil is back, there is no need for him in New York. Habs would want more too

Novak on the other end isn’t available. If you want him, you would have to pay more than Jeannot’s return, around Hagel

I thought I saw Novak for a first rder is fair (per numerous people). He’s a UFA so it’s a little different then Hagel and/or Jeannot, who were RFAs

But, Nashville is competing for a playoff spot rn, he has a below 1m contract and he is willing to resign for cheap with Nashville

I’ve wondered why he would be traded to begin with so that makes more sense to me
