Description

Fitzy did nothing all offseason. He needs to start taking alot of the blame. So if you want Ruff gone take Fitzy with him cuz they are a package deal. MAKE A DAMN MOVE fitzy. I keep saying you cant keep running the 3-4 inexperience D lineup. Dont even use the injury excuse cuz they were still the same when healthy. The more and more time passes by that Fitzy just sits there and does nothing the devils get farther and farther from the WC/Playoffs. Fix your mistakes Fitzy, he can not wait till TDL for a move it has to be before the ALL star break. Stop crying about Brunette too. He wouldnt fix the terrible goaltending and Defence which are the main problems, but keep crying about MID.

Never seen a bigger collapse from season than the Devils.

Fitzy did something. He gave away Sharangovich for a far weaker player.

This year is likely too late to fix. Just gotta put team in best position to get back to playoffs in 2025 or 2026.

One bad decision validates another? Yegor never should have been scratched. I wanted him to be our long-term solution at 3C. Didn’t like the trade at the time. Don’t like it now.

But Toffoli is not the root of our problems. Injuries and lack of experience/depth on blue line are.

Toffoli trade still makes sense when it happened, Devils had Hughes, Hischier, Mcleod, Lazar, Haula for Center. Only had Mercer as a proven RW.

Mistake at this point is Meier, if the Devils don't trade for him they have all the cap space to resign Severson/ Graves.

Meier will be fine. Cannot judge that by an injury-filled three months. (But I was for Boeser at time).

Meier at this point looks like Palat right now: good player but overpaid for what they are bringing this season. I think he will pick it up at some point just not this year.
