Avs decline, 1) need to retain max on Monahan 2) he doesn’t return a 1st, at best a conditional first based on him playing x amount of games. 3) Monahan doesn’t fit avs playing style, they have a similar player in RYJO who has been an excellent case study that if you don’t have wheels you’ll fall out of favour real quick with Bednar.
