Why would Calgary take only a 2025 1st for Campbell when they have Markstoms helping them compete for a playoff spot?

Yeah flames are insulted even if you package both of those deals together they decline easily

This post seems to think that the Flames desperately want out of Markstrom's deal, that really couldn't be further from the case. Vladar or Campbell mentoring Wolf is outrageous, Valdar isn't good enough, Campbell is worse and would only be there to teach Wolf how to secure a bag and blubber his way through his career.

Flames are likely doing a teardown. The objective is to get bad quick and get the younger guys playing time.

The Flames are literally never "doing a teardown", I don't know if you've seen anything the Flames have done in their existence but it's never resembled a full teardown whether that's right or wrong is to each their own opinion. Flames have gotten 8 guys from the farm into games this season, the young guys are playing, suckering your blue chip goaltender with a terrible mentor is not the way to develop him ie. Devon Levi. To say the Flames are likely to do a teardown is just throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks without any clue.

Perfectly... Is there a Markstrom trade that everyone but you is unaware of? Have they shipped off Andersson? Kadri? Mangiapane? Where is this great teardown you're talking about? They've traded 3 pending UFA's this season..
