I think they might be about to claim Adam Ruzicka from Calgary who is a very similar player. that is the only reason I don't think they will ask for Jenik. I would accept though. I think the value may be slightly less although I hope not. I think you can turn one of the seconds into a 3rd but idk.

AZ isn't competitive enough to be throwing away good picks for a rental. They'll be bargain shopping. Like someone mentioned Ruczika on waivers, or a veteran D for a mid-round pick as a token addition. They aren't going anywhere this year.

if he signs a 3yr deal then might be worth it for AZ, but if rental no way - way way too much and AZ is not in rental competitiveness yet
