I understand, hence why it’s called “crazy.” However I’d be interested in seeing what Blues would offer the Sens for Brady. Or I should say what the Sens would accept.

I’m not a Sens fan…but if Brady tells Staios/Andlauer he’s had enough of the bs losing…they’ll accept something they may not have under normal circumstances. This offseason will be interesting in Ottawa. If they don’t start winning, there will be lots of chatter about guys wanting out.

I think the Blues trade looks pretty fair…even possibly favorable to St Louis in a vacuum.

Considering the price they paid for him, and how he delivered last year…hard to think of ‘fair price’ for him. Not sure what FLA does with all their UFAs…but they are going to be left with some holes, so who knows.

I wouldn't trade Parayko for Chabot right now, nor would i even remotely consider trading Thomas for Norris.

Issue with Chabot for Parayko is it doesn't help us, it just leaves us with an even bigger mess

Personally I think it’s a pretty good swap for STL, especially if they could then move Krug or Leddy for defensive RHD. Thomas would be difficult to let go, but Norris is probably pretty close to Thomas overall. Which is better?

Pesce will be UFA this summer. There will be a bunch in 2024 UFA pool. Pesce, Roy, Montour, Walker, Tanev, Schultz, Carrier…all shapes and sizes.

I’m neither a fan of Blues or Sens…I do pay attention to both though only cause of my kids. One is a huge Brady fan and is always asking me if he’s getting traded to Blues lol. I’m kinda w you on Thomas, I do think he’s better than Norris, but Norris has yet to make it thru a season without being hurt. Granted he’s only been in the league a few years. I’d love to see him healthy for a few years to get a better read. I love Thomas, think he’s an animal on the ice, bulldog type player (could just be me), I also know him and Tkachuk’s are close. Anyway it was just a crazy proposal, nothing to serious. Although Sens could really use Parayko. Just my thoughts.

Oh 100% agreed…I believe Sens would trade Brady before Blues ever entertained trading Thomas. If Ottawa doesn’t get it together, I can def see Brady getting annoyed w the situation and saying, it’s time for me to leave. I do think he truly wants to build something in Ottawa. As a star player you want to be the guy who brings a cup to that franchise especially one who’s suffered for so long. But there also comes a time when reality sets in and you start to realize that this isn’t going to happen. They’ve gone through a lot this year, I’ll give them that. So next year should be better w everything finally in order. The talent is there, just need to figure out how to make it work.
