WSH should keep Oshie.
Canucks don’t need TJ Oshie.

The Hockey Guy on YT addressed this and said Chychrun likes and wants to stay in Ottawa. He does have some family nearby too and THG said it would behoove the Sens to not trade such a good and high profile player like him as it could make it harder in the future to attract free agents when word got around. I think winning would silence a lot of that kind of noise anyway but it might be a smart idea to actually keep him there. Your trade is ok, especially the 1st rounder but if I'm the Caps and where they seem to be at standings wise, I am wanting to keep the pick because it could very well be top 10 again. Bottom line is I think they will honor his wishes to stay and that's good for the Sens honestly.

Oshie won't be moved, his NTC will likely block any trades to the west coast and for better or worse, the Caps aren't going to trade him away before his contract expires.
