So that comes out to:

An overpaid guy we don't want, two random prospects that will probably never be full time NHLers, a late pick, and a 2025 late first for our only defensive defenseman and our only right-handed defenseman.

You're over the cap. Who are you waiving that you're willing to lose? Or are you running a 20 man roster with no room to add anyone until the playoffs?
