Both trades seem reasonable.
Rangers should go for it.

While trades are reasonable, i doubt the rangers give up their next two years worth of 1st for two UFA's with this being their last year on their contract

You both make good points
My thoughts would be NyR should do the deal for Lindholm & look at adding another forward who won’t cost as much as Tarasenko

Rangers should be looking to “go for it” this year imo

Okay based on what if I may ask? Their barley 500 record the last 25 games? Their lack of consistent effort and lack of defensive structure? The fact that Igor is very inconsistent? Is these the signes to go all in?

No they should not. They gone way form their defensive structure, Igor isn't stopping pucks and they are hopeless inconsistent as a team, in every aspect.

I don't think the flames would go for that especially with retention.

Would have to be a better prospect or include more picks

Adding a player like Lindholm & another forward to boost up the 3rd line could do wonders for your team’s consistency issues imo

You’d know better than me,
but i think u guys could be legit Cup contenders with the right move or 2

I don't. The fact that they play better with more Hartford players on the team tells me it is not s quality of personal issue. And Shesterkin has looked really shakey. Even with the moves, don't see Quick carrying them to cup victory.

That offer for Lindholm will get beat by someone else. Not sure why NYR would want him though as they don't need a top 6 center. Monahan would be a much more logical target

Well I’m sure the Sabres would be happy to trade for “shaky” Shesterkin 🤣🤣🤣

I'm sure. Might need a little of time off. Like Ilya did. He never had a stretch like this before. He is .899 on the year so far :/

I'm not kidding he is being outplayed by Quick.

1 down year doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the league’s best goalies though
All he’s gotta do is get hot in the playoffs for ya,
and that’s entirely possible

You don't understand, he doesn't look like Igor Shesterkin anymore, like at all. But if BUF want him I would be open to trade him.
The year before this one, he had inconsistent stretches but nothing like this year. I take Shesterkin in goal when he is Shesterkin. Not when he plays like this. And he is just one of many issues with this NYR team. If Drury want to do desperate TDL acquisitions he can, he can trade away all first round picks if he like , I still won't believe they are a cup winning team. In my mind too many glaring hole's.

Every UFA is on their last year of their contract. Resigning any of them would really depend on moving out some other contracts, which I don't see.
