Don't see the Flyers accepting, I like Cernak but he's way too injury prone to justify taking on his contract (especially with Philly already being somewhat strong on the right side)

This would be an interesting trade from the Flyers perspective. Cernaks contract and injuries would be the biggest concern. The Flyers aren't giving much up other than Walker who may/may not be able to fetch you a top prospect or 1st round pick from the right team. On the other side, if the Flyers can move Risto and get value for him, this trade may be a good one to fill that void. Having Creak maybe play with Drysdale or Sanheim would be an interesting d combination. Creak still young enough at 26.

Tampa Bay isn't trading Cernak for that return.

Flyers pass, don't need a defenseman with that much term. If we didn't have Risto it might be a convo. Walker is going to bring a better return.
