Should be an absolute no from the Avs. Monahan simply isn't a good fit. It's basically a lateral move while giving up a 1st for the cap difference.

Monahan won’t be a good fit for the Avs.
Maybe they should get Adam Henrique.

I'm not sure what your definition of pretty clearly is, but I personally don't view "it depends" as something that that is "pretty clear".

Either way, this isn't a, to cite Friedman, "baseline", it also has Montreal taking on a contract.
