The Rangers would jump on that in a heartbeat.

Pittsburgh declines.

Seattle declines the Tanev trade help...take out Reeves and then it's a deal but if Reeves is needed to make the salary work then pick needs to be upgraded.

50/50 on the Rangers deal. I can see them accepting it but also can see them declining it because of Sykora.

pit gives up way too much imo... there is no great prospect coming back... that first is probably going to be around 16th ... I mean we are giving up one of the top wingers in the game and the last Norris trophy winner... I mean I could see this trade with hextall maybe not with dubas lol

jokes aside the return is not that intriguing plus retention for karlsson is wayyy too much. also don't think they will actually do this quick rebuild at all but definitely not this way.

48 hours later, would love this from the Rangers end lol. Gourde also has an extra year on the contract, and Sykora's projected behind Laf, Perreault, Othmann... and I'd rather have Cuylle over him as well.

I'm still against it lol. I agree that Sykora is behind Laffy, Othmann and Perreault but his timetable in probably another 3 years from now when Panarin's, Kreider's, etc contracts are coming to an end. And with the Rangers record of developing talent Othmann and Perreault are no sure things.

Fair enough, to each their own.

Ur willing to do that Toronto trade? As a leaf fan i’d do it without Ryan Reaves as well. Good cheap depth for us.
