I think there is a basis for a trade here but i think that for the Devils, Jake Allen would be a better target. They are well stacked at Center but not as much in nets. But of course, Montreal would have to eat 50% of his salary.

I agree, replace kovi with Allen(50%) then that's a fair deal

There is no basis for a trade.

Monahan is too slow and too bad defensively to fit our needs. He’s worth more but the most I’d pay as NJD is a 3rd.

Kovacevic and 50% Allen, also 3rds.

Not even close to landing holtz.

Holtz+3rd for Guhle or move on
