Disregarding the trade compensation, if you are trading for Lindholm, Novak and Trenin then there is no need for the Strum trade.

Im not sure you understand how a conditional 1st round pick works. What are the conditions on the 1st going to Nashville because we have no 2nd or 3rd round pick to work from.

imo rangers are in no position to trade away a first round pick this year. they are multiple players away from competing for a chip. they cannot keep buying rentals at every deadline. would rather just suck it up and make minor changes at the tdl. however drury is going to get a center so lord knows what he would pay.
