When Flyers fans start making trades like this....you know you are in trouble. That Laughton/Ginning trade is horrible. Krebs at best is a 3rd/4th liner. Walker will get you better value back than that especially if you retain salary. Lastly, that Calgary trade is brutal. Giving up a #2 pick and Grans (not sure what he is at this point) for Vladar who's been sub 90% the last couple of years and tiny Pelletier no thanks.

Comparing Scott's first 190 gm (19 g 47 pts) to Krebs 182 gm (19 g 58 pt) will reveal a different viewpoint.
Payton is playing 4th line minutes with 4th line players.
I will keep my young Payton and the picks over your mature Scott who has a salary triple that of Payton.

I completely agree! I wouldn't do any of these deals. Laughton if he is moved will have a huge market even in a down year. The should be able to get a 2nd+. Same thing with Walker, we don't need anymore 3rd pairing prospects. Walker will bring a 2nd at least. The Calgary trade is laughable, Vladar is having a bad year and is signed through next season. Grans is actually playing very well after returning from injury. Briere isn't going to add a goalie with term when there are plenty of interesting options in free agency.
