I dont understand here what's in it for PIT in this trade. They basically regress a lot with this move. If they trade Guentzel, they will need a return that can help them next year

Hard pass from the pens. A failed prospect, 4th liner, 7th d-man, and someone with 4 points in the AHL for guenztel retained 😂. The picks are a good start, but that’s about it

Pass from NSH. There just isn't a lot of interest in the package from NSH. Kulak adds nothing to NSH's current defensive core as NSH has defenseman in the AHL who are ready to come up and Kulak just gets in the way. Lavoie seems like he could be promising, but NSH is already stocked full of RW's with their current pool and another one just isn't very interesting.
