so I know oilers fans probably won't like this and believe me if I saw a trade like this on the leaf's I'd would be questioning.
Therefore

I can't see the oilers making this trade without moving one of there forwards and let's say Kane move's his NMC for pens then sure!

I don't know exactly Guentzel's vaule but it's most likely more then lindholm. Its sounds like the oilers are gonna make a big push for something.

if this were to happen....... Campbell on LTIR, you don't need to move Kane, you just give up picks, prospects. then pens would have to retain.

OR a third team gets in like Chicago or San Jose.

I just doubt Kane goes anywhere as he is exactly what we've looked for. Grit + Skill on a reasonable contract. I'd choose him over Guentzel 10/10 times.

A 1C just went for a late 1st, overpaid 26 year old and depth prospects. Kane would get a 1st and either sykora or korczak at best

The Pens are flush with injury-prone forwards. We don't need another in Kane. You can flip him to someone else.

Sorry to say this again, but just thinking out loud... Our prospect pool is better than yours which is saying very little LOL. Remove Kane, because we simply don't need another injury-prone forward on a team that usually leads the league in man-games-lost lol. Here's the counter...

I'd rather have 2.5 years of Kane than a couple of months of Guentzel. And that's without considering the other pieces.
