Seriously TB doesn't have the Cap nor desire to pay Savard that much @1.05 maybe there would be miniscule interest

Why would Montreal use is last retention slot and don't even go at full price ?? If retain from Savard they will do it at 50% and this would be 1.750m if I'm right for Savard normally.

Add the fact that half the season is gone which mean half of is salary is also gone. For this season Savard would be pretty low cost (maybe 900k) and the next season at 1.750m that cheap deal and they could also use him or trade him for good asset management after that.
