I'm not all that familiar with Laughton but this is a tough one. What he did last year appears to be an outlier year but it's not like he's playing with really good players. He's pretty old so he isn't going to get any better but if he's a better fit than RyJo, it could be worth it for two more years to get them to Ritchie being ready.

Watched a couple video on him, seems like a pest and a good PKer. Would definitely been an improvement to the Avs roster. 1st and Foudy is pricey. 1st would get it done imo.

I wouldn't be terribly happy to pay a 1st for a bottom six guy that makes $3M a season for two more years. If they really want to be rid of him, I'd offer Behrens and ask them to retain $1M. Otherwise, I'd be more interested in Frost.

Rather keep the incoming ELC than futures but I get what you mean.

Yeah, it would be nice to have him as an option but the Avs left side is full; better to use Behrens as a trade chip if it brings back something of immediate need.
