Ottawa doesn't really lack a scoring winger. They score plenty of goals. Heck, with Pinto back, Greig or Norris gets moved to wing.

So yeah, no chance Sens trade their young center depth and other high value assets for a winger that will likely be overpaid.

Edit: for reference, Sens have Stützle, Tkachuk, Batherson, Norris, Giroux, Pinto as 20+ goal scorers. Greig will highly likely hit that mark this season or next. They are fine for goal scoring. That doesn't include Tarasenko, as he might be gone. What they are looking for are 200ft players and a top 4 RD.

I think ottawa has a bigger need for a guy like Evan Rodrigues than Guentzel. They don’t have the cap to add another big money winger . They need good 2 way forwards

2 way wingers.....E rod is a goal poacher who drifts around mid ice without playing defense so he can sneak in a fast break.

I agree though OTT doesn't need Jake.

I think they should keep Pinto anyway. He's a solid center.
