laugh Pittsburgh aren't going to be buyers this season, They're already quite a bit out from Detroit for the final wild card spot. Those trades for Chychrun and Hanifin are a joke. And Edmonton can't afford Jake Guentzel long term. And that's all that Pittsburgh needs is that locker room cancer in Evander Kane.

No need for Ned

Sammy has rebounded nicely these past 4 games, Woll's coming back soon, and Jones fine #3

I mean they sorta have no choice. Not like selling will do a whole lot. As for being behind, they’re close to 3rd in the metro, and have games in hands over everyone in front and behind them. It’s very simple, figure out the PP (which is apparently a big ask) they make the playoffs. But yes the trades are not great.

Friedman talked to Kyle Dubas, And he said that he's not dealing picks for short term solutions. He knows that Pittsburgh will need to start rebuilding sooner or later and wants to be able to stock pile assets when he needs them.

they have plenty of choice.
These trades suck for the penguins. The only one even reasonable is the TOR one.

I don’t think the Pens need to be trading away so many future assets to beef up their D that has already been solid this season.

Pens won’t be getting a wildcard spot they will finish 3rd in the metro. Go check the standings bud. 5 points back with 4 games in hand and the flyers starting goalie is going to prison

Try 7 points bud 58 for Detroit and 51 for Pittsburgh. And even with 4 games in hand and all wins only puts you at 59 and Detroit will win some of their games as well. Even if Pittsburgh gets 3rd in the Metro Detroit will still have more point than them even if we finish at wild card 2 Pittsburgh needs to win all 4 games in hand and Detroit lose all 4 games. Sorry dude that's not happening.

Dude we aren’t trying to catch the red wings right now idk why you think that. It’s a weird angle to say we will miss the playoffs because we are behind them when a non wildcard spot is wide open for taking in the metro right now

The last half of your paragraph makes me think you don’t know how the standings work

If the pens are third in the metro they do not need to catch the red wings. The red wings are in the Atlantic division, they cannot get a metro spot. We are 5 points back of the FLYERS with 4 games in hand. We do not need to catch the red wings right now, that would be nice insurance though.

We need two games and an overtime more than the flyers over the next 35 games. We are playing our best hockey, they have been sliding.

Edit: checked username, makes sense now why you think only the red wings matter here

How do you expect the red wings to make playoffs when Vancouver clearly has more points than them, check how far behind they are!
