Yeah looking for a vet 3rd pair RHD who would mesh well with Lohrei's play style... any thoughts?

The Bruins waived AJ for a reason, why would they bring him back and for more money?

He was redundant with Lucic's return... his game has developed and if he was still in Boston would be playing over the likes of Steen/Brown. Bring him back and its minimal money.

Lots of different options to fill the roster. This is a much easier situation than last year. I do think we need to look at extending Frederic at the beginning of the season if possible

100% one of the first priorities of the offseason should be locking Freddy up long-term... I'd offer him 8 years at $5.5M as soon as he can be extended.

His game is the same as it was when he was with Boston. He's a 13th forward type of player that can fill in for short periods of time if an injury occurs. He's not an NHL regular.

Colin Miller. Likely sub 2m, knows the system and city, and can bring a bit of physicality, Bit of a journeyman at this point, and still plays a more stay-at-home style.
IF playing Lohrei, and not signing Hanifin (as i think we should) then he plays 2LD with Carlo and we can worry about depth elsewhere

I like what we’ve done with Shattenkirk this year. I’d look for a RD who would be a decent complement for him. I’d also play Regula and Lohrei as much as possible in Providence though I know Regula and Renouf have the primary pairing. I’d like see how they work together
