I really think Minnesota would take Celebrini, they could use another young high end centre to go with Rossi. JEE I think would be an amazing 3C for them and they would have amazing depth down the middle. Couple guys on the right side for the next few years as well.

If the Blues make the playoffs and cannot trade up, that's probably exactly who they take.

It could go either way, but I chose Levshunov because the Wild's center core is Rossi, JEE, Stramel. Wild don't have a high-end D and Levshunov could be the guy.

Yea, Blues need D more than anything. Wingers are their best position and Thomas-Dvorsky-Stenberg are a nice 1-2-3 down the middle

I forgot about Stramel. It would be a good chance to trade back. Gain a pick. Depending who end up with the second overall pick. In this situation, since Montreal just drafted Reinbacher, they might be inclined to make an offer to pick first. Likely they just take their guy, whoever it is though. Would be interesting to see someone trade first overall at the draft. Only in Vegas!

If Minnesota misses this year, I see them rebuilding and trading for another 1st this year. I won't be doing mock drafts with trades until Capfriendly updates the site but whenever I do it, I have the wild trading for another first

I'd say there's a fair chance Stenberg also plays wing in the NHL, but maybe he'll stick in the middle. TBD. Kaskimaki and Dean are more likely the top 3rd line C candidates. Maybe Peterson or Vorobyov jumps in there, as well.

If the Wild were close to 50/50 on Celebrini/Levshunov, Montreal would definitely offer something to move up and take Celebrini (Colorado's 2nd and/or Minnesota's own 3rd would make sense to me).
