Bonino is on contract termination, no GM is touching him.

I actually really like Duhaime's fit here, but I greatly disagree with some wild fans that have been pushing him as being worth a 3rd. Feels like an overpay for a down year rental.

I can't see Patrick and Jim getting Bonino.
    His career is done.

Maybe, but he costs nothing and has a ton of playoff experience (105 G ), most of it with Pittsburgh.
The Canucks can take a chance on him, they can waive him if it doesn't work out.
What is Duhaime worth with 50% retention?

Duhaime should kick back a 4th or so. It's a pretty straight-forward comp. Lazar, Sundqvist, Motte, Olivier, Appleton, T. Pitlick....all 4ths.

Late 3rd with retention is probably a bit rich, but it's far from egregious. MN will probably just take the best 4th available and call it a day.

A 3rd with 50% retention doesn't seem ridiculous, but it probably depends on how many teams are interested in him. If it's just 1 or 2, yeah, just take the best 4th and move on. Sadly most if not all the players the Wild will have as sellers could probably be had for a 4th or 5th round pick.
