    Calgary says no thanks we'll keep our younger bigger prospect and you can keep your 26 year old Russian who was never good enough to get signed to an AHL contract.

    Friedman's play was never really that bad in PIT. He just had the most uncanny ability to piss everyone on the ice off. The opposing team, his own team...everyone.
    Which is why I think he can't find a steady landing place.

    I never disliked Friedman, but there isn’t a world where he is worth anything close to a 3rd round pick.
