Not sure LA would give up Turcotte unless NH gets an extension. I could totally see a player Helenius in that deal. 6’6” and 200+ lbs.
Price tag will be pretty god regardless.

Yeah either a sign and trade sounds good Or a second round pick 2025 minus turcotte?

I’d offer Helenius, Spence and a first regardless of an extension. That should do it.
That would give Conroy 5 picks inside the first 40 ish picks. That’s plenty to kickstart a retool.

So let this make sense.

Los Angeles is struggling in multiple areas. Without a doubt.

Our Depth isn't being consistent
Our goaltending isn't being consistent
Our Star players are not playing like star players
We are struggling to find our game offensively

Hanifin doesn't solve any of this.

Los Angeles needs either

1. Starting Goaltender
2. Top 6 Winger
3. Depth Scoring Forwards

Not gonna give up two young guns + 1st Rnd Pick for Hanifin. We have Anderson and Gavrikov as our Top 2 LD. Why are we gonna overpay for Hanifin just to have him on our 3rd defensive pair?

I'd rather consider Saros with that package.

But why? Los Angeles has no issues with our LD.

We have issues in many other aspects to worry about giving away a big package for a position we have no issue with.

Jets decline 2nd in 2025 and less of a prospect (levis, wagner or torgersson) and it's a deal. This is way overvaluing tanev
