PIT isn't doing that CAR trade. The retention alone is worth more than the return.

CBJ isn't trading Boon, surely not to PIT for that offer.

Neither of these happen.

CBJ would want more for Jenner.

That CAR trade doesn't benefit the penguins in any way.
