Welcome to CapFriendly. Despite what the name suggests, this place isn't usually so friendly. Canes would probably do this, it's really good for a first post.

Welcome!

Tarasenko may get 1st rounder if winger market is thin. There are many bubble teams right now…so there could be handful of teams with UFA forwards may be sitting on their hands at deadline.

Welcome. Congrats on finding the retention feature so early. I doubt SJS are the right team to pick up Kubalik but somebody might take a chance on him for a 4th if half retained.

Not bad for your 1st!

I think Vlad will get a 1st from a true contender. He's worth that anyways, I don't know of many forwards better than him that will be available at the deadline. He's so much more of a complete player than I thought he'd be.

I'd be shocked if Ottawa actually finishes 5th last and 8th in the Atlantic. They have been playing well lately (the right way) and it's inevitable that they're going to win two thirds of their remaining games and miss the playoffs by like 5-8 points, while absolutely destroying their current draft position.

Fair I'm not the biggest Sens fan and i don't know their schedule but wouldn't be surprised about that

I think it's a Top 5 easiest schedule the rest of the way so they'll definitely win more than they should. Playoffs completely out of the equation unless they go on a 7-10 game winning streak
