That's way too much. Weegar is not a superstar, Norris caliber defenceman.

I guess the question would be.....why would the Leafs?
Leafs get worse in net this season by having Vladar over Samsonov,
Weager....do you really want him under contract till age 37?
Wouldn't the Leafs be better having 6.25m in cap this summer, the two first, Cowan instead of one Weager?

Weegar isn’t available and even if he was leafs aren’t trading for him brad has never spent 2 1sts at a deadline and he’s said several times he isn’t trade minten or Cowan this season if ever lol
