They don’t even do it for Marner, tbh. Marner’s solid, but the Stars don’t have an issue with offense & their defense is already a problem as it is. You move away one of the two legit defensemen they actually have (other being Harley), and they are one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

Honestly there is nothing in Toronto that will get Miro out of Dallas. Dallas has a very solid offense. Even Matthew's doesn't move the needle.

It's not that Matthew's and Marner aren't incredible. It's that offense is not the need for Dallas.
