Description

Fischer and Kane are potential resignees as well. Traded away Fabbri and Veleno to provide a bit more roster room, since even though they are good players, they have a capped out ceiling. Don't believe that many of the young guys will crack the roster, so likely that we keep a few more guys around.

What exactly is Fabbri an improvement on? Guy has to be available in order to take a spot in the lineup.

Only 3 Ducks have more than his 13 goals. And no guarantee all of those guys are back in Anaheim next season. Fabbri has played 39/51 games. Missed a stretch earlier in the season but has otherwise been a clean bill of health

Be my guest. As it says in the trade: Anaheim is a placeholder team here but it’s not totally unrealistic.

I think Fabbri has some value now vs last year, 13 goals in 39 games. Retain 50% for $2m next year and I would guess he gets a decent return for a VGK, EDM, VAN, LA, COL, maybe even Tampa if you want to go East too? 2nd and mid prospect for Fabbri at $2M next year I think could be reasonable.
