Please keep Greig, we don't want him at all...

Your love grows stronger, but he is taken with another team. Forbidden fruit is always the sweetest but he is ours!

Leafs vets can teach him some class, turn him into a real player. I like what he and Pinto bring. They're good players. Leafs should try to trade for either one.

Nah, Greig's classless and isn't a top 6 player nor would be in the near future... Pinto maybe, because he could turn into a solid player, but don't need Greig's BS along for the ride

the most 1headed is thinking every one/teams wants your soft, overpaid wingers.

thinking ottawa declines a 1 for 1 trade where they get a 90 point selke finalist for a projected middle 6 rookie is why you're on this site and not in the big office

youve reached new homer levels

Isn't this year 8 of the rebuild?

New owners, new coaches, new goalies, none of it matters because the core in Ottawa stinks. They are not elite. Leafs stars are paid the big bucks because at least they show up in the regular season. They are superstars.

Ottawa will be in the basement for the rest of the 20s. My guess is they will become like Buffalo who haven't made the playoffs in a decade and a half.

Enjoy the wins against the Leafs, though. They are the highlight of the Sens' season every year.

rofl, OTT has had one of the worst coaches in NHL history for the last 6 years, it will take time for the deprograming to take effect, OTT has won more playoff rounds in the last 8 years than the leafs have won in the last 20.

Defense and depth wins cups, both of which the leafs have none of because they have 50mill tied up in 4 forwards.

The roster construction is upside down. That's true. But it's a problem that can be fixed, and pretty quickly.

But this idea that Ottawa will make the playoffs with a guy like Berube behind the bench just doesn't fly. It's not reality. The core players on that team can't carry a team. Stutzle was diving all over the ice last night. Good teams don't win that way. He needs to fine tune his diving and save it for games that really matter. And that's years away.
