Mesar + second for Coronato. Done deal. Or Beck + second + third

I’d take that Beck offer in a Heartbeat. He’s not on this list cause I figured he was untouchable

He isn’t untouchable. Only reason we would trade him is if we can get a top 6 player, so Coronato. Only problem would be to find a replacement, but I’m confident in Kapanen or Kidney. Worst case we just draft him with Winnipeg’s first

You know me, I lack patience and like to speculate. I was wrong about the Sharangovich Trade and Sharangovich too, so just like socks & underwear, I change my mind, opinion and direction fairly often

I agree Pospisil is more of a Bottom-6 but he does best at RW. Not sure about selling high on Mang with his Cap Hit though

So aside from just seeing who’s interested in Coronato and whether they’d consider swapping prospects, Centre, and RD Prospects are more ideal given Centres can play the Wings as well and RD’s are the toughest to replace and we’ve been lacking unless you think Zary will eventually move to Centre

I’m saying play it safe and Draft more C & RD’s going forward, especially with Size and avoid Americans to ensure we have guys wanting to be and stay in Calgary. Nothing against Americans and I understand if given the choice they prefer south of the border, but I’m tired of losing them, hence my position

Coronato signed and likely expected to be playing NHL Hockey right now. Doesn’t take long for a guy to get disgruntled, especially kids of his generation and the entitlement many of them have. How long will he be okay or does he get upset he’s in the AHL or not being given Top-6 Minutes in the NHL before he says hey, I want out. Time will tell. Who knows

So here's the thing. Coronato is only 21, he played the last couple years in college which he played 34 games only both years. He's already played 37 games this year and we're only half way done. On top of that Coronato's foot speed is pretty average so even though he arguably NHL ready this year the workload and the pace were just a bit too much for him. Look at Matt Knies in Toronto, he had a pretty solid start to the season but the workload and lack has caught up to him. The Leafs pack of depth to shelter him has lead to his inexperience getting exposed.

Players take time to develop, Remember the season Zary had 2 years ago in the AHL? Look at him now. This is Coronato's first pro season, give him time to adjust.

In fairness to Zary, he broke his ankle blocking a shot in Training Camp, that wasn’t an adjustment thing, but regardless, I hope you’re right and Coronato figures it out and enjoys Calgary. We’ll see…

Except Dube was Drafted in 2016 and the incident in question didn’t happen till 2018

Kids do stupid things and make terrible decisions, especially with peer pressure. Doesn’t make anything okay, but it’s not preventable. We’ll never make people perfect or not do terrible things, especially when alcohol’s involved

                That's fair.

I'm just looking at it from the perspective of ownership. There's been two pretty ugly situations come to light in recent months. I'd be making sure my hockey ops does their due diligence.
