People may not be high on him, but San Jose isn't going to trade you Kunin for a 7th and a guy who will 100% walk at the end of the year.

1) We don't need your cap dump in Saad; he's completely cooked.

2) It's gonna be a 1st, top prospect and either a 2nd or or a decent young roster player.

So take out Saad, swap Dvorsky in for Stenberg and since you don't have any younger roster players you'd part with, add a 2nd and you'll be closer.

I think Kunin to St. Louis would be a reasonable fit, but the pick will have to be higher. I'm not saying crazy high, even like a 2025 4th round pick and a 2024 5th rounder if Kapanen is coming back the other way

Can’t see how Sharks bring Kunin back next season, but for sure this deal ain’t it
