I think this is similar to what it will take, even if it doesn't make sense for Rangers. 1st + A-/B+ prospect minimum imo. Perrault is an A and 1st plus Perrault is a little one sided in our favor but add in Goodrow and I think it evens out.

That's fair, maybe it doesn't make sense for you guys. I don't think value is extremely far off though

Perreault is leading the NCAA in scoring as a freshman, it would be quite difficult to work out a trade for him that Rangers fans would be amenable to.

The Rangers could offer Lafrenière and Schneider. Lafrenière gives the Penguins a top forward who scores goals. Schneider provides necessary depth on right defense.

It’s more likely NYR call up Perreault post college season than them making this trade . Perreault is a top top prospect, he will never be traded for a rental.
