$4m is a lot of retention, but that is almost certainly a top 5 pick and a blue chip prospect.

This may be the first Nurse trade I’ve seen on here.

Value is there. But Nurse is needed for us in Win Now mode.

Oh it 100% isn't happening, EDM wouldn't move him right now anyway. It just feels very Columbus that this team would trade our one 1RD prospect and a winger we're all excited about for a (good but overpaid for a looong time to come) defenseman that doesn't fit our timeline at all.
