What would Flames fans expect for Mangiapane

Trades
1.
NYR
  1. Mangiapane, Andrew ($2,900,000 retained)
Additional Details:
I believed that with some hefty retention Mangiapane could be a decent option. He's in his mid to late 20s, has one more contact season after 23-24 and yes he has not had a god 23-24 season (so far at least) but he scored 35 goals once (in 21-22). He could be a good option with Zibanejad and Kreider.

Would a 2024 2nd round pick and D prospect Drew Fortescue(drafted in 2023) be a good start? What else would the NYR need to add?
CGY
  1. Fortescue, Drew [Reserve List]
  2. 2024 2nd round pick (NYR)
2.
NYR
  1. Boyd, Travis
Additional Details:
Boyd is currently injured but I assume he returns before the deadline.
ARI
  1. 2024 4th round pick (NYR)

The retention makes him quite valuable.

Mangiapane at 2.9 million is an absolute steal. I would also want a first + solid prospect for him at that price.

I'd say a 1st + a decent prospect is fair.
I think if you pair Mangiapane with a top player you can get something special, different play style but, I think he could be the Kunitz to someone's Crosby if given the chance

Ok, that makes sense.

Would Sykora + 2025 1st work (it's been reported that James Dolan wants to keep the 2024 1st)

And if so, since the Rags don't have a 2nd or a 3rd in 2025, do you think it would be possible for the Flames and the NYR to swap their 2025 and 2024 2nds, respectively?

In other words, the trade would read as follows:

To CGY:
-Adam Sykora(drafted in 2022, can play both wings)
-2025 1st
-2024 2nd

To NYR:
-Andrew Mangiapane(half retained)
-2025 2nd

I think he could be a good fit with Kreider and Zibanejad. He wouldn't have to do too much, as the two players I just mentioned are the main engines on that line, but he'd likely be able to contribute quite nicely there.

That’s not bad, I’d remove both seconds though.
