TB hangs up laughing zero chance they can afford Savard next year it guarantees Stamkos is gone.

Stamkos is already not 100% confirmed yet. There seem to be an problem over is number $ for the next contract. Player and gm are not on the same page for the money wise and could end with Stamkos not returning. I could also be wrong on this and he sign with the team at the end of the season/playoff.

Stamkos accepted the offer on the table from the previous November last time 2 days before UFA. He's stated too numerous times to count he wants to play his entire career here. So, unless TB offers him like $2,000,000 per or some ridiculously low-ball number he's staying. Probably signs around what killer got in Anaheim.

Like I say could be wrong about it but I'm sure I have read that Stamkos want to be pay at it right value but lightning gm wasn't fan to pay big money at the moment. Could also be part of the negotiation to try get the man accept an friendly team deal.

Stamkos is part of the lightning dinasty and would be sad if he's not retiring as members of the team at the end of is career.

I think you're getting fed what other teams are telling the press trying to stir the pot. I've heard nothing like that Stamkos before the beginning of the year said " I'm ready to sign tomorrow." On "The Block Party"
JBB. We'll have to see where the cap is and work a fair deal for both sides this summer."
