Oilers don't need a LD. They need a RD. Make it Letang and they might consider this. I don't like any of Holloway, Lavoie, or Broberg either so for Dubas he might want to aim elsewhere with a large package like this.

I figured Ekholm could switch to the right, I don't see them moving Letang at all with the year he is having. The prospects are underwhelming for sure.

The big advantage here is Pens have less $ committed next season to defense and can add a UFA forward (Like Jake Guentzel lol) + add another cheap forward to not entirely give up this year (Like Kubalik or Duclair)

We wouldn't have an interest in Graves, need a RHD to play with Nurse.
Otherwise we're moving too many cost effective players here, I would love to get Guent and Ned but we can't be given up Holloway and Foegs.

Graves isn’t going anywhere. We have to hope he finds his game again for next season.

Honestly, this is probably the evenest trade I've seen for Jake.

LOL.... I'm from Pittsburgh and a Pens fan. If the Pen's don't win 7 of the next 10, they're going to start selling off and retooling. Opening a lot of cap space on a deal like this isn't a bad move.

a 1st and a bunch of garbage for Jake isn't helping them.
the other 1st is the cost of Graves.
You get nothing for Ned.
Talk about failed trade.
