I really don't see him doing anything crazy. He should sell of Roslovic and Bean for whatever he can get and hire a guy in the summer with a vision.

I think Peeke and Boqvist make more sense to move than Bean. I mean we should move all 3, but our logjam at RD needs to be cleared so Jiricek can play

They will be gone in time. At least one of them will get moved this summer, but I think with their money and term they aren't going anywhere at the deadline. Bean being an RFA gives teams flexibility to use him as a rental or re-sign him if he fits well.

Should definitely try to move one of Boqvist or Peeke as well as Bean, should definitely move Bean.

I'm not sure about Roslovic, if he wants to stay there at a lower cost he might be worth resigning but I haven't seen enough to say if he's worth keeping.

Whoever takes over needs to bring some vets in at forward, even just some good defensively bottom sixers would help, too much youth in the lineup at the same time.

And probably most importantly, send Vincent back to the AHL and hire a real NHL coach ffs!

Really they just need to replace Laine with a veteran power forward. I'd love if they could trade him for a pick this summer and sign a guy like Toffoli to a 1-year deal to play the 3rd line. Boone should be on the wing as well, then this team is much heavier on the forecheck and has plenty of veteran leadership in Boone, JG, Werenski, Kuraly, Gudbranson, Provorov, Danforth, and even some of their young guys are getting old enough to start becoming leaders.

Definitely agree that the biggest thing is a legit NHL coach. Pascal is a good guy like Lars, but also like Lars, just doesn't have a personality to inspire. They need a coach with some fire and charisma that can coach the team's mentality more effectively, rather than just where they stand on the ice while being skated around.

I'm a big Laine fan so I'm gonna say no to that.... 😉.. lol

They had a nice offseason until the Babcock hiring, had they not done that and had the injuries to key players I doubt the season goes as poorly as it has.

Anyway, I'm rooting for the Jackets, hope they can figure it out and move forward.
