Why would the wild decline? A solid prospect and 1st round pick and a 4th rounded to round it all out seems like good value

The pick is not til 26. 3 drafts away. 6 or 7 years away from making an impact if ever.

Middleton is signed cheap next year. Something they need.

They can move at him at next years deadline if they are not contending or extend him.
