A silly idea, but I thought it would be interesting

Would Toronto fans rather pay a first for Chris Taney, or a 2nd and a prospect and still have 2 2nds left for other moves?

This is usually something that happens at the draft

I like the idea in theory, just not something you usually see mid-season. I can see a trade like this happening at the draft if they hold onto their first and win a round or two in the playoffs so the pick is a later first.
