Bruins fans are ridiculous, yea they played like **** against CGY and Wash, but they just beat the best team in the NHL and severely outplayed Seattle. Still tied for 1st in the East and people still want them to sell and get rid of Monty. Convinced they never watch a lick of hockey outside the Bruins and just don't realize how good we have it

its sports talk radio man. 10% of bruins fans are awesome, and 90% take their ques from a guy named mike felger, who is a professional troll with zero hockey knowledge.

Can't imagine what twitter would've looked like after 2010. Krejci too soft, can't win when it matters, fire Julien

even more ridiculous than that. i was at the garden when the bruins lost in 2010. the bars afterwards were packed with guys that played JV in high school talking about how they had to trade chara, move on from krejci, fire julien, ditch rask...all sorts of stuff like that.

Not surprising, but that's still ridiculous

But back to the original point. You need to have a good team to contend in the playoffs (obviously) but it really is a lot of getting hot at the right time and getting some puck luck. This Bruins team has enough to do that imo. They're never going to get blown out in a series. Resource wise, I'd understand going all in again, going after lower priced targets, or sticking pat at the deadline. Makes zero sense to sell, not that I think Sweeney would ever do that.

the funny part is it's not like they're playing bad. i think they hit 5 posts last night. they outplayed tampa and got goalied. in an 82 game schedule, that's going to happen.

Boston has been adding college free agents securing Farninacci, Merkulov, and Bussi in recent years. Would like to see them do the same with Tsyplakov.

I think it is a little light in Swayman and DeBrusk’s salary, but nothing that couldn’t be handled with that overage.

I wouldn’t stress to much about it. Anyone that has read your commentary doesn’t view you as someone who would associate with Felger’s takes.

Ironically, the people that complain about Felger are doing exactly what he wants. I like Ty Anderson a lot. Probably agree with him more than any of the local media, but Felger plays him like a fiddle to foster discussion on his idiotic takes. It’s always interesting to see these personalities with little talent having a dominant position in the sports radio/podcast market by basically mocking people that watch the team and know more than them
