Description
First, let's not do the normal "my team declines" thing. The teams don't matter. Its the gist. It could be any team. Its the draft pic and the position in draft that matter, Ie Cup contenders vs mushy middle vs top ten. Also Im sure TAMPA fans would say their team declines the Tanner Jeannot trade, but then it happened, right?

Nashville sign Saros to 6 years at 8mill. Sorry about not getting 7 years Juice but you got a 5 year at 5mill bridge and thats more than Pekka ever got. You can have a ModNTC.

Tommers is played, all year, top 6. GD it! Vangie too.

Nashville drafts Cayden Lindstrom (F), Berkly Catton (F) Zayne Parekh (D) and Carter Yakemchuk (D) in the first. Later in the 2nd and 3rd they take as many Finish Goalies as the can find. I would prioritize Noa Vali (G) and Kim Saarinen (G). Maybe, a Sweed too like Marcus Gidlöf (G).

Nashville sucks next year (more so), gets a high draft again taking a centre.

Some young guys are trade out over the next 2 years and some depth guys come in.

3 years from now ROR signs a 2 year in the 2.5 to 3 range so he can be there when we peak.

Conference Final in 3 years. Final in 4 years.

In the first 5 starts, Lankinen may have had that value. Since, you’ll be lucky to pull a decent 4th.

They didn't play him enough. They did it WRONG. Get what we can get. I think its higher than 4th however.

Blues aren’t a good team if you’re shopping Barrie. No cap, and no need, also a general lack of ideology from our GM in regards to rentals this year.

Someone will take him. The basic idea is flip everything we can for whatever picks we can. Then re package those picks and flip them to move higher. And so on.

There’s probably 14 teams currently that would like to do that.

Interesting trade. Ottawas biggest weakness right now is G and RD, this gives them a great G prospect. Really depends on where that 1st lands, wonder if it might be a draft day kind of thing if they were to do it! If Levshunov and Parekh are gone early I can see them really contemplating this

Vegas doesn’t need Carrier and a first for those two doesn’t seem like the move. Need to go big game hunting if we are using a first on a bonafide scorer

I hate to burst your bubble, but nobody is giving up a top 8 pick for Askarov. And we're not giving away Sogaard.
