I mean, Lindholm got a 1st, Vaakanainen, and a pair of seconds. One of those 2nd's was used to dump John Moore, so it was essentially a 1st, 2nd, and Vaakanainen. Niemela has about the same value as Vak had at the time, Grebyonkin is a solid prospect who I'd say is worth around a second rounder and they get a 1st. Hanifin is good enough to warrant Minten or Liljergren going back along with a 1st though and it's very likely this offer is easily outbid

More silliness basing a trade on an extension. Leafs are fine at LHD....yea it would be nice but an overpay by any standards.
Kinda crazy to trade Brodie.... Trading Brodie, a first, two of Leafs top prospects (and they only have four non goalies, for a second and Hanifan. Sorry, two much of premium for Hanifan.
Why do Leaf fans have this fascination with Flames Dmen over their own?
