Interesting offer, I don't think most Sabres fans would do it. But with retention you are basically getting him for 2.5mill in actual Salary. Basically a 50/50 guy, but is having a off year. That prospect is a big boy but I would probably need another pick included. Faulk is a older version of Joker, but with more Offense and is a bit more physical. They both skate very well.

Not interested in all this, we are not ready to go for it, and we're definitely not paying a bunch while retaining so much on Faulk. I think we need to venture toward a return to contention more smoothly.

Two players who I hope the Blues would avoid. Chychrun is essentially a younger Faulk. I'm not sure why we would acquire him while moving Faulk out and retaining on Faulk. Middlestadt is having a good year, but i don't believe LW is relatively a need. Ideally your LWs are Buch, Neighbors, Schenn. Middlestat also doesn't seem to be the most adept centerman.

Overpayment for Mitts, and sadly not enough to entice OTT in my opinion. They’d want someone else instead of Tucker.

He's been one of the better C 5vs5 since December of last season. He is like 13th in 5vs5 points since then. He is only getting better.

Faulk doesn’t meet Buffalos needs. He’s another puck mover who can’t defend, which they don’t need more of.

Thats fair. I will say he is a pretty decent defender overall, but he’s been paired with Krug most of the time which is really hurting his numbers
