If Buffalo was interested in 100% down! I just think the sharks are getting the better player here and would need to add to make this happen

That's a good trade. In fact, I could see a trade exactly like this on deadline day. It would be like this year's version of the Dadonov for Gurianov swap (which Dallas won, but besides the point).

I want no part of labanc. The Sabres need two way forwards, preferably with size and grit- that's what makes sense considering what they already have and what's coming. You could probably have olofsson for future considerations.

I think the Sharks would only be interested in Olofsson in this type of swap. No reason to take on the cap space when it could be used to bring in assets.

This trade works. Even though Olofsson may be better, I wouldn't add anything to dump Labanc. I'd just let Labanc's contract expire before I'd give up an anything to move him.

A better deal for Buffalo would be Olofsson, half retained for Luke Kunin. If another draft pick needs to be included to make that work, I think Buffalo would be willing to do it within reason. That’s the kind of player they need to bring in.

I like Kunin game and he’s been playing better of late, but Olofsson would bring some goal scoring potential and I’d be down with that as well

Olofsson could be an asset moving forward for u guys
Idk why our coach hates him so much???

It’s too bad, bc he became a much more responsible 2way player & was producing at even strength- no longer just a PP specialist

I think the Sabres are just looking for a pick for him
And Olofsson will probably help his new team
