Vegas doesn’t really have Eichel’s money. The talk is he may be back before the Buffalo game on 3/2. It was just a procedural move to activate Theodore without having to send any forwards back to AHL for now

Glad to know that tiresome, old, and wrong narratives never die out. Eichel has always been talked about as returning in ~March, but gold team bad. Also, even if he wasn't returning we don't want Bertuzzi for a 2nd

I don't think it's bad to put a player on LTIR until the playoffs and using that cap to add. I assumed this is why they put him there. No team should be faulted for trying to win every year.
