We don’t want to pay Marner $14,000,000+ on his next contract and that’s if he even resigns

Not trading Zegras AND Luneau for him

Nope not potential. Marner has a full NMC, if Toronto doesn't extend him to his desired amount, he walks himself to UFA status to burn the organization.

I am seriously just trying to gather info from other teams to gauge his value, so bear with me.

What would you consider his value to be in a sign & trade where he would be coming back with an 8-year $12M contract extension in the summer?

Might sign him as a free agent if he was there and interested but I’m not trading for him, maybe like a 4th for his rights to get 8 years instead of 7

Trading for him doesn’t make sense for us currently
