You really believe that?? Flames and the Leafs have identical GAA. Why do Flames fans think Tanev, Hanifan and Markstrom such different makers.?
Hanifan and Tanev are the third and fourth best Dmen on the non playoff Flames. Do they really improve a contender THAT much?

Leafs are 8-2 in their last 10; hardly a mess. Reilly due back soon too. I agree that Tanev would be great fit on Leafs, but pressure works both ways. Have to assume Tanev & Hanifin aren’t extending so pressure mounting on Flames GM to move them on & hope they don’t get injured. It’ll all be resolved at or just prior to TDL imo ; time will tell

I think it's the other way. Fitz is saying a 1st and prophecy etc with no Holtz and the hang up is that. Conroy wants a body plus. The recent play of team and Gs slowd this from happening right now. This week will determine imo

Too bad the Flames Dmen and 6m goalie, can't keep the puck out of the net any better the Leafs can.

Where did I see they have an elite core? The Flames forwards suck. I know you're not exactly the sharpest but hockey is played by more than 6 dmen and a goalie

I maybe be sharpest, but what's worse, is Flames fans begging to take their middling players for a Kings ransom. Good luck if you can get a good return, but the Flames Dmen really aren't difference makers are they?
